TaylorMade RocketBallz Irons
The TaylorMade Rocketballz irons are progressive and dynamic and designed to deliver a further, higher, straigher ball flight.
TaylorMade are using a urethane layer, developed in Japan, for the first time to absorb unwanted sound and vibrations. The new soft and pliable system is featured in all irons from 3 to pitching wedge, and dampens vobrations without slowing the clubface.
TaylorMade say they have improved the accuracy in the Rocketballz irons thanks to it's Toe-Bar. Positioned in the upper toe, the Toe-Bar stiffens the toe of the club so the club can send the ball straight forward, when the clubface flexes. TaylorMade have also lowered the centre-of-gravity in order to strengthen the Rocketballz lofts and promote a more penetration flight. By thinning areas of the sole, top-line and back wall on the 3 to 6 irons, and repositioning that weight to the heel and back wall, the centre-of-gravity is moved lowered and more centered.
An added cavity chamber in the heel of the Rocketballz irons makes the heads easier to bend, meaning TaylorMade can offer the Rocketballz irons in 4 degrees upright or flat, and plus or minus 2 degress of loft.
